ISLAND OF BRAČ

The island of Brač is the largest Dalmatian island, the third largest in the Adriatic. There are several ways to get to the island - by ferry or catamaran, or by plane to Brač Airport. There are two ferry lines: Split-Supetar and Makarska-Sumartin as well as several catamaran lines. The most significant ferry connection is Split-Supetar, which has 14 regular departures and arrivals every day in the summer season, and additional lines are added in peak season, as needed. Travel from Split to Supetar by ferry takes 50 minutes and by catamaran less than 30 minutes. From Supetar all the places on Brač can be reached by car, bus or taxi.

The highest peak of the island is Vidova Gora with its 778 m of height, which predominates in relation to all the other Adriatic islands. Vidova Gora offers a wonderful view of Bol and the famous beach “Zlatni Rat”, as well as the island of Hvar.
